How to assess water quality in a pond and a creek
How to conduct a tree core sample and calculate the value of a tree
How to restore fish habitat and evaluate water use challenges
How to restore stream banks through planting native species and removing invasive species
To understand Indigenous People’s approach to land management
How ecological restoration is conducted using traditional knowledge
How to read topographic maps and use GPS
To understand the Fire Triangle
To use firefighting tools including infrared drones
How to build a fire line and conduct a controlled burn
How to make biochar from slash piles
and more!
You will need to wear long pants and shirt appropriate for work in the forest. Masks will be required.
